Kay’s store does not emerge from scratch: it started the 1st May 2005 in Entropia Universe. You will find below the history of the store.

17 August 2006 - Closed store in EU - New store in SecondLife

Kay’s Store closed officialy today. However, you can find a new one in SecondLife since it is under construction at Grace sim http://slurl.com/secondlife/Grace/171/21/89/. The opening is scheduled for early October.

13 July 2006 - The store will soon be closed in PE

I will slowly close the store and leave PE (which is in my sense to restrictive for me) for another mmorpg SecondLife, and start something new.
I have creativity to give, and PE is a small box with very low possibilities for me now. I am not an hunter n a or miner and not really interested by those aspects of the game. I like to create and test new business opportunities.
I have already dropped my bags in Second Life, and i will soon open a new store (which is under construction), with my own-made objects, and maybe go further in buying an island.

I will not leave PE in 1-2 weeks, it will certainly take 2 months (takes time to sell furniture now).

1 May 2006 - Kay’s Store Anniversary

One year has already passed, and I am happy that I could bring furniture and decoration items at reasonable prices to the owners of houses or apartments. In order to celebrate the anniversary of Kay’s Store, I am organizing a quiz.
The quiz consisted of three easy questions, and the winner was Spike Sp1k3 Mangoid.

11 April 2006 - Project Entropia transforms into Entropia Universe!

2 April 2006 - Kay’s Store launches the new Survey Service

Due to new possibilities in Project Entropia, and because trading is a central occupation for existing and new ventures, Kay’s Store launches a professional survey service for the community in order to help tycoons to know different PE markets.

1 March 2006 - Kay’s Store advertisement published in the new magazine ‘The Entropian’

With the help of Dannei, Kay’s Store has seen its first advertisement published in issue #1 of the new PE magazine ‘The Entropian’. You will find a full page (p. 33) dedicated to products and services offered by the store.

4 February 2006 - Air Cariama

Kay’s Store has done the first flight to the Space Resort with the new airline Air Cariama. You can find information about this service and the prices at Air Cariama page.

12 December 2005 - Space Travelling Services

Kay’s Store has acquired hangar #9 located north of Treasure Island. The launch of new space travelling services will be effective next year (scheduled in February 2006). Kay’s Store is now able to propose space travelling services from/to Crystal Palace, Space Resort & Club NEVERDIE.

The ASTEROID SPACE RESORT was today, 24th of October 2005, bought by avatar “Jon NEVERDIE Jacobs” for a sum of 1,000,000 PED (100,000 US Dollar)!

The public auction offering the Space Resort started Friday 21st of October at a staring price of 1 PED, and with a buyout price of 1,000,000 PED. The response to the news of the Space Resort was immediate – just during the weekend eight parties approached MindArk expressing serious interest in purchasing it. Just three days after the launch, the buyout price was met by Jon NEVERDIE Jacobs, before the competition.

28 September 2005 - New location and Wedding Chapel for the community

Kay, the CEO of Kay’s Store, acquired the house Lake View #16 located in the middle of Treasure Island from the famous owner of Treasure Island, Deathifier.

This house will be the ‘vitrine’ of Kay’s Store activities, and will be a living house: furniture and decoration items will be added and removed continuously in the left room since they are for sale. Also, people will find at Lake View #16 a shopkeeper with items at market price, thus everybody will be able to buy from Kay’s Store without knowing the store! The items at low prices are still sold via the Ultimate Online Store for the few who knows this website.

The right room of the house is solely dedicated to be a wedding Chapel. You want to get married, this is the place where it becomes reality.

20 August 2005 - Kay’s Store launched the ‘Reward Point Program’

To thank the customers for their supports and to offer future incentives, Kay’s Store wanted to give something back and launched the ‘Reward Point Program’, which is the perfect response.

The Reward Point Program is as simple as it sounds. While shopping at Kay’s Store, customers will earn Shopping Points for the money they spend.
Once earned, they will be able to use those points to pay for future purchases at Kay’s Store.

14 August 2005 - Kay’s Store apartment designs are part of Project Entropia

MindArk has published the pictures of Kay’s Store in the Project Entropia Gallery https://www.project-entropia.com/gallery/Index.ajp. Those pictures were made for the official home decoration contest. Kay, the CEO of Kay’s Store, won the second prize.

The Supremacy Harness, won by Kay for the contest ‘the nicest home’, was sold.

09 July 2005 - Launch of Kay’s Store Ultimate Online Store

Now, it is time to enter a new era in PE !

A new feature of Kay’s Store has finally arrived after weeks of hard work. In order to respond to the survey, the Ultimate Online Store has been launched today. It is a new way of doing shopping in Project Entropia.

Different products and services are and will be available : furniture and decoration items at low prices (about 30% less than the market), escort services provided by Warmdogg, full dresses and armors, travel Space, avatar transformations.

You can also advertise your Landgrabe, your Events, your Shopkeeper or something else in Kay’s Store: we are offering you now this possibility.

22 June 2005 - Home decoration competition finished (copyright MindArk PE AB)

The large number of participants in the Home Decoration competition has been very inspiring and given us numerous ideas for further development. Really big thanks to all participants from the development team.

The winner of the First prize (a full set of Supremacy armor) is: Skalman, residing at Echidna House #02. The jury’s motivation: Skalman shows a very coordinated and pleasant home, with the sense of balance, style mix and a pleasant choice of lighting. The feeling one gets upon visiting the house is basically “this is a true home”.
The winner of the Second prize (a part of Supremacy armor) is: Steph Kay Kiokay, CEO of Kay’s Store, residing at Omegaton Tower Epsilon, 21D. The jury’s motivation: The bedroom is extremely cool and stylish, with a superb lighting, an elegant feeling and a planned layout. Also, the jury really liked the fireplace area that is inviting and full of warmth. As a whole, a very nice place to live in.

The winner of the Third prize (a part of Supremacy armor) is: Sonne, residing at Lake Serene #1. The jury’s motivation: The choice of massive red lights make the house appear very special in sense and atmosphere. The layout is creative and the placement of the shelf to alter the room space was a nice touch.

The winner of the Most Creative award (a part of Supremacy armor) is: Jenna, residing at “The Atlantis” (address is a secret, for obvious reasons). The jury’s motivation: A task of extreme perseverance and gung ho, the underwater mansion is a work of art. The jury cannot imagine the amount of time and energy spent on this marvellous craftsmanship, and the level of detail of the project is astonishing.

The winner of the Grand Vision award (a part of Supremacy armor) is: Aldre, residing in the mind. The jury’s motivation: An inspirational piece of fantasy and vision combined. The creative touches, details and mixing of Project Entropia parts into new directions are wonderful and jaw-dropping.

Do you have a nice home on Calypso? Care to show it, and by doing so, join a competition? MindArk has started a contest in which the goal is to have the nicest looking home. The prize to the winner is a complete set of Supremacy Armor!

The rules
Decorate your home with furniture and items. Then send a maximum of three (3) screenshots of your nice home in an email to , with the subject “Contest”. In the body of the email, you must add your full avatar name and the address of your virtual home (for instance; “Genesis Tower Z, 166T”).

The contest will end at the 22nd of June, at 12.00 UTC. You must own the home you decorate and you must keep your home looking the same as in the screenshots sent, else you will be disqualified. Your home must be set to public access, as a MindArk jury may at any time drop by and look at a home to see it “in the flesh”, until the winner is announced.

On the 24th of June, the winner is announced, and a ceremony will be conducted soon after, with the winner and MindArk’s Director of Community Relations Marco Behrmann, somewhere in Project Entropia. More info about this will be announced here later.

The jury will be looking for creative ways of decoration, as well as balance and finesse in style and choice. The decision of the jury cannot be appealed.

1 May 2005 - Opening of Kay’s Store

Dear habitants of Calypso,

I am proud to announce the launch of a new store.

You will find this new Shopkeeper Pad at the following location: Genesis Star, Tower B, apartment 21E.It is the first building S-W from the TP.

This shop is solely dedicated to furniture and decoration items. I will try to have the most attractive prices compared to the market, so you will be able to decorate your ‘home sweet home’ at a good price.

Kay’s Store is a fansite of a virtual business located in Second Life.
Second Life is a Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (mmorpg) created by LindenLab, which brings the player in a 3D virtual world, where ceating, trading, living and communicating is the every day life of all avatars.

In this virtual world, a new business was launch the 1st October 2006 known as Kay’s Store, although the store had an earlier life in Entropia Universe. The main purpose of Kay’s Store is to sell products and services in SecondLife.
The store has several buildings in Seconf Life, especially an Art Gallery (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Grace/171/21/89/) and a first business centre (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Invergarry/172/211/49).
